about sue

By my mid 40's poor diet and lifestyle choices had resulted in increased weight and growing health issues. Taking the decision to make changes, I addressed my diet and reduced stress levels. The results made such a difference to my own health and wellbeing, I altered my career direction to study and practice nutrition.

Having achieved a diploma in Nutritional Therapy through the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) following 3 years of study, I undertook and completed a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Nutritional therapy at Worcester University. Submitting a 12,000 word dissertation on a gut related topic.

I feel these two aspects of study allow me to offer the personalised and targeted approach expected from clients. This is achieved through the holistic beliefs of Naturopathic medicine, that we all have individual needs and influences on our health, alongside nutritional support grounded within the evidence based research required to achieve a Master of Science degree.

My area of special interest is that of digestive function I therefore attend as many seminars and conferences as possible, to ensure my knowledge is up to date with all the latest research information available.

The above qualifications allow me full insurance and membership of both BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapist) and CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council). Both bodies promote the highest standards of education, training and qualification within their members.
